Melissa J. Miller, D.O., F.A.C.O.G., is an Osteopathic physician who specializes in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Her training includes additional holistic elements and an emphasis on mind-body integration and the balance of one’s health.
Dr. Miller completed her undergraduate degree at Elmhurst College with a B.S. in Pre-Med Biology and a B.A. in Philosophy. She attended medical school at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and received her post-doctoral training at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois where she was Chief Resident.
Dr. Miller combines the mind, body, and spirit in an approach that allows her to merge today’s medical technology with patient-centered care to maximize the body’s tendency toward healing and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Her training has prepared her to deliver the comprehensive approach to care that our patients have come to expect from SWHS physicians. Dr. Miller was raised in Illinois and now resides in the Cary, IL area with her husband and family.
